Thinking about mathematical thinking is key to learning to teach.
We achieve this by going back to basics ourselves and breaking down the process into smaller blocks and questioning ‘why did I do that?‘

Teaching Maths - Year Group Specific Training
This training is a 3-part programme for each year group, Year 1 to Year 6, focussing on classroom pedagogy and progressive subject knowledge in key curriculum areas.
Have you noticed how some maths is simply hard to teach and hard to learn? These sessions focus on practical experience and curriculum progression to raise pupil achievement in the classroom.
Calculation Progressions Policies & Working Parties
Support in creating a progression policy to suit your school or join a working party for a more collaborative approach and wider professional dialogue.
Moderation training for schools or school groups to ensure accurate assessment judgements and a focus on the expectation of the standards in each year group.
Development of subject knowledge and leadership skills to continue to raise standards in mathematics and remain up-to-date with local and national initiatives.
As well as working with maths leaders to raise standards, I also work with science and foundation subject middle learners to develop their roles and responsibilities.
